5-axis Machinist for 2022

Post by renegademachinist » Thu Jun 16, 2022 7:43 pm

If there's a 2022 project that requires machined parts, let me know!

I'm a 5-axis machinist and had a project of my own for 2022, but I've been so busy machining other things this year there was no way to pull the whole thing together between now and go time.

So I'd love to help an art installation for machined parts needed for 2022 projects.

If we start soon it's not too late to get machining done in time for Waking Dreams!

I have some larger Haas and DMG machines both mills and lathes.

They're larger than normal CNC machines, but they're not industrial scale CNC's so they can do large but not massive parts.

My machines can make parts from either square or cylinder solid aluminum that don't exceed a Diameter of 7 inches and a Max Weight of 70lbs

I use Fusion 360 for CAD / CAM so If you have CAD / STEP files feel free to DM me, I'm more than happy to check it out!

Nice, I've been doing 3-axis CNC for a little over a decade, 5-axis sounds dreamy!

90% of the time pretty much the same as 3-axis, just without the op flips! :)

ideally one-and-done
