White smoke for dsigned/controled smoke rings. Any one have a idea of how and what to generate? Smoke will start at 6 feet above the ground. Staring size about 18 inchs.

I am not clear on what method you wish to use to generator white smoke. However, white is one of the easiest colors to produce. The technology was used in WWII to obscure our battle ships. (Before radar). It is now used to create the trails you see behind jets doing aerobatic stunt flying. The technical name is Corvus oil. It is also known as "spindle wet" when purchased from Unocal. The primary use is lubrication of food processing and crop harvesting equipment. When this oil is heated to the correct temperature it produces billows of dense white smoke. The smoke is non toxic. I use it in my jet flame effects device at times. I recently purchased a military jet powered smoke generator. If you plan to use a pyrotechnic method to generate white smoke that is another matter. Contact me off list and I will give you that formula. I hope this is of some assistance to you.

All I know is that during an election of a pope, they mix straw with the ballots they toss in the stove in the Sistine Chapel when the voting result is indecisive, and no straw when it's all habemus papam and shit.

saltpeter and sugar. Thick white smoke. Burns sorta like gunpowder but slower.
