Giant Glass Origami

Postby Perpetual Burn » Tue Oct 17, 2017 3:12 pm

Just an idea...

Installations inspired by Orgimai... but instead of being made out of paper, the surfaces would be made out of colored plexi glass... and instead of being the size of paper, more like 10-15' tall so people can climb on them... the joints and braces holding the glass together could be made out of wood so the glass can be removed by the end of the week so the the joints can be Burned creating a flaming Origami Burn!

Burn on!
Love calls us Home
Hope restores our Soul
We Burn on the Playa
Black Rock Desert
We fear no evil
The Man is on our side
Surely Faith & Love Will follow
All our Lives
& We will Burn in the House of Love

Why stop the ideas there? Maybe someone else can make a 40ft-tall installation "inspired by origami" made of huge sheets of slate connected together with wrought iron so that people can play billiards on the sides. Then those other people can have it demolished at the end of the burn and clean it up and truck it back out.
