Metallic adhesive tapes or films

Post by Bronwen » Sat Apr 16, 2005 6:59 am

Hi Burning Community!

I am trying to find a black metallic self-adhesive tape or film that will stick to basswood. I am sure I've seen it somewhere, and think that maybe Chartpack makes a tape similar to scotchtape for gift wrapping.

Do any of you know if such a thing really exists, and if so where I might find it? So far I have visited Michaels Arts & Crafts, Home Depot and an automotive place with no luck. Any tips are greatly appreciated!

Try your local Pep Boys store, or Auto Zone, or similar....They always have a zillion kinds of stickon pinstripes, plain stock, flames, numbers, etc. as well as the occasional EL wire toy on clearance.....
