Hi
My team are bringing Playascape to the playa this year. It's a big, steeped amphitheatre for meeting, watching sunrises, performances, dancing, sheltering, relaxing, etc. See pics below.
Question is about insurance/safety. I've built some big things before but nothing like this which encourages a lot of participants to be both on top and underneath. Naturally we'll make it strong, etc, but nothing is 100% fool/burner/weather-proof. Never bothered with insurance before but now thinking of that.
What are people's experiences of insuring their art for liability? On the one hand you have the blurb on the back of tickets. On the other hand you don't want to be worrying about people suing (we're mostly UK) or even attempting to, if something bad happens, regardless of whose fault.
Has anyone insured something similar to this? If so, recommendations on insurer, amounts gratefully received.

Re: Art insurance
Has anyone been successful getting insurance for an art car? I'm trying to take a new car to a small festival in Oregon next week but I can't find anyone who will give me the time of day. I've talked to Crimson but haven't found what I'm looking for yet.
Re: Art insurance
Open a google search page in your browser.
Type this in the search field:
site:eplaya.burningman.org “insurance”
Google is much better at searching Eplaya.
Note that the results may be on the older side of things.
