The Church of the Open Mind Art Car will be on playa again this year. We are super stoked and ready to spread light, love and illumination across the playa!

2022 Projects - Before heading home we've several projects to get The Church playa ready. To start we're going to repaint and do some basic maintenance on the old bird. We're also going to add subwoofers for our playa system, speaker over the steps and upgrade our lighting controls! For enhancing dancing and illumination!

The Church of the Open Mind Art Car On-Playa Programming - We are one of the most inclusive art cars out there, inviting anyone who wants to squeeze on to join us as we explore, connect and dance! We'll often even take your bike! Burners love to come on board as we explore the deep playa. Thousands of burners have had a chance to get on board and connect/create/dance with us. And we hope that is just the start.

Our planned programming for this year will include two art tours (including one for donors like you), a wedding extravaganza (for anyone who wants to get “playa married”), dozens of amazing DJ’s (including a few internationally known), an ambient tea party and more playa time for The Church.
