Anyone have any advice on using an old three wheel cushman scooter for a mutant vehicle base? Here is a link to what I'm looking at

Are they too heavy? I'd love to replace the wheels with BIg wheels. Has anyone ever made these?

Not sure how well the drain culvert wheels would hold up that much weight. I'm with gyre on this one... have you thought of a build from scratch?

Huge wheels will require a gear reduction from any logical base vehicle. Those Cushman / golf cart wheels are about 4 feet around, that is every revolution moves the vehicle 4 feet. The big wheels may be 10 to 12 feet around. At the same rpm, you will go 3 - 4 times faster and have about 1/3 to 1/4 the pulling/pushing force. It may not move if too heavy and burn out electric motors or centrifugal clutches.
