Will Call Name Change and Early Entry 2016

Dear All,

My friend has a ticket in his name, currently for collection at Will Call, that he is kindly (bloody kindly) gifting to me.

So:

1/. How do I change the name of that ticket to my own, so as to avoid him having to queue for me? I have seen the FAQ at https://ticketsupport.burningman.org/cu ... -my-order- and am concerned I'm too late.

2/. Can a Will Call ticket holder get early access (i.e. on Thursday)? (Camp has offered and needs the help on build).

Once the owner logs into Ticketfly, he needs to "View" his order. There will be a link to "Transfer" ticket(s).
Click it, add first and last name of recipient, their email and submit. The ticket is instantly transferred and appears in the recipients ticketfly account. I *just* did this with a VP. No problems.

All of the transfers I have done were to people that had a single email address associated with their burner profile and ticketfly account. I'm not sure if there is an extra step when sending to a person that doesn't have either or both.

Assuming you have a ticket (paper or will call), if you arrive at the gate with an early arrival pass you can enter at 12:01AM of the day the EA is for.

Since no one has specifically said it yet; Will Call is open from the Monday before burn week, so for all of EA, just like it is once the gates open to everyone.

It's Pabst* Blue Ribbon, a type of beer. It's quite popular on playa because it is quiet watery and thus refreshing and easy to drink a lot of. It's also pretty cheap. I think it is what is sometimes called a "session beer"

Also worth noting since you're a pom; they drink it cold here. Ice cold.

Might as well ask here:

Is the method for splitting Will Call (eg, person #2 comes at a later time than person #1) still for the first to arrive to claim the order, and change the name so the second person can pick up later. Anyone have any experience with this working (or not)?

Nope, use the ticket transfer tool mentioned in the readme doc for buyers and sellers. Split the order you're set to go. Once the transfer is complete, both parties should be able to log into their Ticketfly accounts and see the will call ticket in there immediately (anybody claiming there will be a delay is wrong).
