Vehicle Pass Required for Trailer carrying MV?

Our Mutant Vehicle will be on a trailer, being pulled by a truck. Does this require one or two Vehicle passes? thanks

Just one - towed vehicles don't require a VP.
The playa isn't "home" to anything or anyone, it's not magic, it's just a goddamm camping trip. A really awesome one. -Captain Goddammit

You probably know this, but just in case: Gate will want to see the DMV invite letter if you are trailering an MV in. Make sure you have it accessible at the gate.

They say that every year, I've been bringing MVs for over 15 years and no one has ever asked to see my invite letter at the gate.
It's still a good idea to bring it, but I'd love to heard a first hand account of someone being asked for the thing.

Interesting. Maybe I should have said: "They're supposed to".

But I have met several people who had their vehicles get put in D-lot by gate because they didn't have the letter. I have no idea what percentage they check though.

I'm moving this over to tickets discussion, since that's a better fit for discussions about vehicle passes. I'm also pointing in the direction of the FAQ, and closing this up as resolved.
Every motor vehicle driving into the event must have a Vehicle Pass. Motorcycles are exempt from this requirement.

Trailers being towed behind vehicles do not need a separate Vehicle Pass.
