I love the videos of the acroyoga participants and the silk performances and lyra and all the beautiful courages arts and I was wondering if there will be anymore this year and where to sign up. I train in silk, pole, and lyra and I would absolutely love for some people to chat about performances and tips for playa performers and again WHERE TO SIGN UP. Lol I would absolutely love that. Just let me know fellow beautiful playa performers.

There are many aerial hard points throughout the city.

I lived in a camp with a dome for several years; we allowed aerialists with their own silks to play, so if you come prepared, you'll find options.

We did finally hang silks, the last couple of years, but found that they had to be monitored for safety.

Thats awesome! Thank you so much for the advice I'll make sure to bring all my gear. I agree with the monitoring though, people can get hurt which is pretty bad news. I'll be sure to clean and tidy my area before taking off to adventure. c:

And come the weekend, never underestimate the stupidity of the tourists. I was taking a break after dark on Fri night on my first burn. Heard a thump and cursing outside. Went outside to find some ass-hat on a bike had decided to try and ride through my camp, and managed to pretty much knock himself out hitting my (glowing, flashing, red el-wire wrapped) aerial rig. His friend was yelling at me about how it was all my fault. Luckily, enough people had seen it and all called him and his friend on being stupid that he decided it was best too wake friend up and leave. After a few years I realized it was easier to just find rigs around the playa to play on. Also, at least my first year, there was a thread looking for center camp performers. It's fun to do at least once so you can say you did it. Just make sure you have a good repertoire of moves you can do without taking your boots off.
