I had a fine time with y'all last year and look forward to seeing you again. I'll bring a pupu platter of one kind or another. Erik and I also volunteer to help during the party with gate, tidying, whatever comes up. I'm not really worried as plenty of extra tickets were offered to me last year, but I'm ready anytime. Preparations continue.

I mostly lurk on eplaya these days. The FB group keeps me quite busy. I would like to swing by and get some hugs from my favorite eplayans this year. I will bring some Fireball or snacks, not quite sure what yet. Planning on arriving on playa Tuesday, and hopefully not during a dust storm like last year. :-/

What the hell is wrong with you people? I know you mean well, but I'm bringing absinthe and there's never a discussion whether or not that is somehow correct. Gluten schmunten. Next thing we'll be looking at such nonsense as "peanut allergies". Bring what you want, and if some quack doctor tells our fellow denizens of the Eplaya not to eat whatever you brought, it's their loss. Be responsible for your own well being.

I've been trying to settle on something for the meet & greet. Someone decided for me. My liquor supplier from work. "Hey Ruth are you going to Burning Man this year? My front room is full of wine and weird liquors. Want some?" Last time I brought booze to the M&G it was honey Jack and flavored vodkas. Shit yeah I want some.

As far as healthy snacks go, I have solution. A sign in the bowl(s).

"These snacks are not healthy for you! They will kill you! Now move along and leave more for the rest of us!"

I was asking, sincerely, for suggestions, no need to rant about the quality of whatever it is or make social commentary on the choices. A simple, "how about...." will suffice. If you do not like whatever ends up there, you can bring your own, which is the other reason I am asking.
