Skuzz...

I think your suggestion works. First, you'll be surprised how quickly it disappears. Secondly, most everyone is an adult. They're responsible for what they will eat. I have an allergy to certain kinds of shell fish. As much as I love them, when I'm in a social situation, I pass on anything with fish. Simple.
The truth is more important than the facts.

Skuzzy, Don't pay any attention to the rants. Everybody does it now and then. (And everybody gets it too.) Some are kidding and even if they're not, they've already forgotten that they wrote it. The internet is a wonderful tool for emotional release. (Otherwise known as 'happy endings'). Don't stress over your contribution to the food table. Get what YOU like. I'm a food minimalist at the burn. One year it was sardines and crackers. Last year it was dry salami and crackers. It all gets eaten when they open the gates to the public if not before. The first one I went to, I brought cold PBR. I thought it was odd that they didn't refrigerate it. (The following day they played beer ball with it.)

Bring what you like on a burnable plate. It will get eaten, carted off by the interlopers or pitched at a baseball bat. It won't go to waste.

My line of thinking was "oh yeah! That reminds me, I I should see if anyone else is GF to facilitate treats!" because having any sort of food something is a PITA, especially out there. A middle of the week brownie or something we don't normally get to eat can positively make the day.

Anyone who expects to be catered to because of it can eat boogers.

Apologies to anyone who found my reply to be a "rant," they said "speak up," so I did; just thinking out loud in a conversational tone.

It's kind of a shame The Tuna Guys aren't on the Eplaya.

Nah Ratty, I never get emotionally invested in discussions, over the Internet. I been doing this before it was available to the public. I tend to giggle at people who try and push my buttons. :)

Really looking forward to meeting everyone.

Do they go to BM anymore? I thought I heard something about one of them dying? Or killed in an accident? Not sure what the cause, but pretty sure I read about one of them dying and missing the burn.

c.f.m. Hi. In the eplaya 'slow' season you would have had 10 people jumping up and down with their hands raised. Everyone is busy digging through bins and buying extra vodka. Yes there will be avid sticker whores at the M&G. Bring some please.

For the last few years there has been a swag table. Last year I brought old swag that didn't get distributed in years past. (I crossed out the year and wrote 2015 with a sharpie.) They swooped it up. This year while packing I found some 2015 swag I should have brought. Seems I'm running late. Anyway, bring stickers. You'll get extra hugs.

Just look for the loopy one who may or may not have a bowl of fruit on her head. If I were to ride over to the M&G with a bowl of fruit, it may or may not make it all the way there intact. No guarantees!

It's been two years! Unfortunately,my sister Martiansky isn't making it this year. :(
Since I'm coming from Minnesota, prepared food isn't easy for me to bring...but chips, crackers, canned stuff or of course alcohol is manageable. Any requests or ideas?
And I'll gladly help with set up and clearing garbage. :D
