Hello all friends of classical musicians, and especially all classical pianists,
We are looking for a pianist to complete a violin/horn/piano trio, seeking to perform two movements of the Brahms Horn Trio on Burn Thursday at 4 p.m. and also at Champagne Lounge at a second time. If anyone knows a classical pianist who is coming to the fabulous city, please send this note their way.
Dusty hugs,
Christina

Hi I know I'm late in responding, but do you still need a pianist? Cheers!

Re: BRC Chamber Music Festival seeking pianist
Greetings,
I know this post is from last year but the title caught my eye.
If you are planning to host another chamber music event needing a pianist in 2017, my son will be attending and he is classically trained
and has jazz skills too.
Where was your camp?

Hi Daisymae,
Thanks for the note back. Great pianists are hard to find so thanks for writing back about your son. How fun that he is going to the Burn this year. Jazz pianists are in a huge demand. He will want to find Jazz Café and Crossroads online before heading out if he wants to get involved in some groups. There are also pianos all over the playa (badly tuned ones) that he will be able to entertain people.
I camp with PlayaChoir out on the edge of 6. It is nice and quiet there at night.
All the best,
Christina Wolf
