Looking for couple to share RV with for Burning Man in Black Rock City 2016

Hey Everyone,

We are new to the eplaya forums, my name is Kevin (AKA The Viking) and my girlfriend is Jenya (AKA Muse).

It is my first year at Burning Man but my girlfriend has been before and has experience traveling to Black Rock City in an RV. We have been looking for RV's for 2016 and are looking for burner couples who are interested in possibly sharing. We are also willing to join a camp. We are both laid back and relaxed people but also enjoy a good time. We are looking forward to the art, music, good vibes, free environment to be yourselves and exploring BRC. Also we both have experience traveling and enjoy meeting new people.

We will be leaving out of San Francisco. We will most likely leaving the Friday before burning man and parking in line to get in to BRC ASAP.

You can't really wait along the highway in line before the event opens. If you get to the event before gat opens you get sent to a waiting lot and first ones there are last ones out...

3 years ago we got to gate before it opened and were sent to that lot. We got there at about 2pm, gate opened at 6. We were in about the center of the waiting lot. Got to camp about 10pm

Thank you again. That is good information, idk how long my girlfriend waited last time but I think she did the same thing. I guess its probably luck of the draw of where you get placed in the waiting lot.

No, it isn't luck of the draw at all.
If you arrive at BRC before gate opening time, you are sent to the "D" lot as a penalty. As explained, the earlier you arrive, the later you get out of the D lot.
It's intended to discourage showing up before the gates open.

I went to BM 2 years ago, and we arrived Saturday night around 10 pm. We were placed in line. That year the line to enter was almost all the way to Gerlach! They let us in around 12 pm. So we were in line only for 2 hours before entering BM. It rained next night on playa and Noone was allowed to enter till Tuesday. So in my experience arrivin Saturday night was super nice!
