I'm coming from Sydney for my first burn and seeking a ride from either LA, San Francisco or Reno. I'm 34, really laid back and only too happy to contribute for costs etc. I'd like to arrive at BM on Sunday 28th ideally.
If there's anyone with a spare spot (I'll have only one backpack), please consider me!

Hi! I was planning on renting a car and driving in with my friend on the 28th from Reno. We have come across a bit of a hiccup. She is under 25, and although we are able to rent a car, they won't allow us to purchase insurance. Collision costs would be on us.
Are you able to rent a car/drive? If so, we would be happy to connect and cover most of the costs.

Hello! I might be able to help you out...I just posted a ride offer:
Five time Burner looking for someone to share the driving LA to BRC and back. I have a minivan and a 6x10 cargo trailer. I've done rideshare before, and have a few caveats that I've learned from experience:
1. You need to be validly licensed to drive, a good driver, comfortable driving at night, and ok with driving with a trailer. Don't worry: Its not that hard
2. You need to have a paper ticket. I have a paper ticket, and don't really want to hassle the line at will-call.
3. I like to listen to audiobooks and podcasts while driving, in addition to music. Need to be cool with that.
4. I can't promise that I can deliver you to your camp, or pick you up from your camp. I'll probably have to just drop you off where I camp, and you'll have to make it to your camp, and then back to the my rig when we leave.
5. I don't care if you smoke, but just not in the van, please
6. It would be nice if you could kick in for gas.

If you will be at or near LAX by Saturday morning, Aug 27, I'm driving up solo in my RV. I plan to stop for a bit in Sacramento, do some shopping and get some sleep, then leave 2-4 AM to arrive in BRC hopefully on the morning of the 28th. Look for my post for more details. PM me if interested.
