I really need my cane i can't walk far without it and this one was custom made in virginia so i can use it as a grabber and pick up moop. I left it at the 6 or 7 and L bathrooms monday night during exodus so I couldn't turn around and go get it. it is really important to me as I am handicapped and the best way I can contribute to my community is mooping. it has a hand brake lever that closes a claw on the bottom to pick up stuff. It is black and 40 inches tall, shaped like a 7.

I'm pretty sure I have your cane. It was found around 4:30 and D on Tuesday after the burn, while I was searching for my stolen bike during exodus. It is exactly like you described, but I don't think it works, looks like the cable is loose. Please let me know how I can get it back to you.

Here's what it looks like (pic from the FB page)

This one is in rough shape, foam handle is damaged, grabber is not working. It has the grab-a-cane sticker, but it's up top near the handle.

After looking at your photo, this is not the same one. This one has a 3 piece shaft, your photo appears to be 2 piece. Am I correct?

I think that's it, the person who makes them probably improved the model, the person who lost it sent me a PM yesterday, he'll be really happy! He also said in the PM that it was run over by a mutant vehicle at a local burn and he had it repaired.

It does look like it was run over. I'd be happy to ship it to the owner if I can get a mailing address.
