If you are indeed the intrepid soul who was in possession of the one ring, tell me where you may have lost it. I will due my due diligence to reunite it with you so you may complete your mission and cast it into Mt Doom. Don't worry, I have made all efforts to not gaze upon it lest I fall under it's spell. I did lose a men's ring at 3:45 & I. It looks like an ordinary ring made of dark metal, but it would feel heavy to a person who picked it up because it is made of tungsten carbide (...and also because of the evil of Sauron.) There is no inscription and none will appear.

The one I found does bear an inscription in Tengwar.

I lost a very special ring this year. It is large, made of copper, with ornate carving and set with a blue oval labradorite stone. Lost near 2:00 and E. If this matches the one you found please let me know.
