We build a two room air-conditioned HexaYurt. The bedroom is literally dust free with a king size bed and mood lighting and an instant on hot water shower. Nothing too fancy, but it sure is a comfy escape.

I would sure hate to see your fancy one!

Thinking of creating a one time event (daytime) called "BRC Tour of Homes".
Totally tongue in cheek/mobile cocktail party where we dress up and check out colorful living rooms of the most bohemian style.
Got some ideas? Is this the right place to post such a thing?

Looking for campmates who might want to be part of this endeavor.

Well yes I have. My Personal shelter is a 20' x 8' x 7'tall beast. It is dust free on the inside and comfy and quite beautiful too. With two big eyes windows to look out of.
Rebuilt for this yr. Will you be coming this yr and photographing them? When i get placement I'll let you know where to find me.

There will be awards, yes! I am hoping to get there a bit early so I can get photos of contenders.

Since Paperman mentioned his abode's two big eyes.... My Playa abode has two big eyes also.

It may not make it on the 'beautiful home tour' but it is quite lovely.

I bought a Kodiak tent at a great price this past fall (thanks just Joe)

I'm hoping to deck out the inside with big pillows and pretty colored fabrics. In my mind it will look like the inside of I Dream of Jeannies bottle.

In reality it will be dusty and a hot mess

Only photos i have are on my dead pad device. How ever if it ever stops raining I set it up and photo it. Need to repaint it as it has been rebuilt. Some ran over it with a truck, Would love to make a couple more simular shelters for my camp and invite newbies to stay. Like a plug and play but as a gift and with out showers just shelter.

The design of the Black Rock City Tour of Homes Display is ready to build and now I am needing more photos.

As this is coming together, I think that the focus will be on the living room or shared space- of-course, we are open to all creative ideas.
There will be a grand event on Thursday afternoon and hopefully we will enlist an artcar to transport a lovely group of decked out
attendees. Ribbons and prizes will be awarded and cocktails served.

An update on Black Rock City - Tour of Homes.
We are designing our display and planning a contest that will start in June - to encourage entries by those of you who are planning a BRC Home that is tasteful and boldly makes a statement about who you would like to be. We will have prizes!
