Introducing the EBB CAST - Community Art Support Team

Post by LysaJoy » Thu Feb 02, 2017 7:28 pm

CAST's mission is to connect local SF Bay Area based artists with communities and resources, facilitating year-round, cohesive groups that build collaborative, playa bound art.

For 2017 we are designing and implementing CAST to act as support for artists who wish to bring their works to Burning Man.

The program’s focus areas will include:
-Online resource/checklist guides
-Burner Curious Connections
-Match Making Services for: Project Management, Legal, Financial, Volunteer Coordinating, Fundraising, and Social Media.

We plan to host two event in the East Bay area, the Playa Art Sneak Peak and a Fundraising Seminar.

Additionally under development are discussions of on-playa support and post playa opportunities.

I'm really looking forward to what Scott and Dazzle will bring forth for playa artists with their new CAST program. They are two great burners and I know they will deliver what they say. I had a chance to record last year's Playa Arts Sneak Peek and here's the link.

Let the learning and networking begin in the East Bay and beyond. Congratulations on your new endeavor together!
