Camp Fuego is a camp of 5 years with ~45 members from 4 countries, many of us located in the SF Bay Area. For BM '17 we are presently open to new members. We host a booze and beer bar, a snow cone bar, a karaoke stage and open mic, DJ dance parties, and an air-conditioned VIP Lounge. We are especially interested in singers, musicians, DJs, rappers and anyone else who wants to take the stage with any kind of performance. We are also open to folks who just enjoy serving guests at the bar. Camp membership includes: 10'x10' of shade (based on double occupancy) for your tent, pod or yurt; fresh water; grey water disposal; enclosed full kitchen with cooktop, grill, toaster and wash station; a full bar stocked with all the booze and mixers you can drink and serve; organic snow cones forever; beaucoup ice for the booze bar and snow cone bar; full use of the generator; 2000 watts of sound and a stage from which to DJ, open mic, playlist, karaoke or heckle; a shower (limit of 3 for the week) and an air conditioned VIP backstage lounge. NEW THIS YEAR Camp Fuego announces its scholarship program for those who would like to camp with us for free: the Fuego Scholarship & Stinson Decompression Retreat program. We'll be looking for 10 members to come directly from the Burn to Gatsby's Stinson Beach home (20 miles north of SF) where you will stay in serious style Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights and we will power wash the dust off everything and pack it away for the next year. We will finish by Thursday when I will deposit you wherever you like in the Bay Area and return to you your camp fee.

Camp Fuego membership for BM '17 is now closed, but please come visit our stage & bar where we hope to entertain you with song, dance, prose and laughs, or enjoy your taking the stage to entertain us!

This will be my first trip to the Playa - and I L-O-V-E karaoke. Will definitely be stopping by for activities!

Camp Fuego has 2-4 membership opportunities newly available for BM'17! We are looking for a member or two who can drive one of our "leather & wood" camp vehicles to the playa this year from Berkeley. And we'd like to find a couple more members who can really sing. If this could be you, PM me.

Hi Gatsby.

I get to you about the space for more members published in may. If still available, I’ll be travelling from San Francisco and have the international driving license for cars, which I’m not sure if will meet the requirements (I’ve driven heavy trucks in the army as we had conscription in the 90´s)

I’m a Spanish 43 YO man travelling solo from Europe. Therefore, I have major restrictions with the luggage and travelling with you allows me to bring my own food and shelter (If there were some free space in any tent or RV, it would be perfect)

I used to mix some hot stuff some years ago (Breakbeat and Funky Breaks), but now I’m retired and enjoy the music as a floor filler. Therefore, I think I’d be more helpful serving drinks or doing any other chore (I’m handy and supportive), which I appreciate you telling me along with the fee for participating.
