Seeking answers about camp lead change post DGS sale

My question is this: Can I submit the Placement Questionnaire for my camp/be the point of contact/"camp lead" if we've already registered for (and bought) DGS tickets through last years camp lead?
Some background: The person who usually interacts with the ORG on behalf of our camp/the "camp lead" (I'll call them Mo) is not attending BM this year. The rest of our camp went to Mo saying "okay but we are will you apply for the DGS tickets since you're the email contact who can." They did, we got tickets, but Mo's still not going and doesn't want to deal with the headache of registering a camp they're not involved in. I don't blame them and, quite frankly, it'd be easier if someone who knows what's going on this year (me) could just deal with the rest of the camp registration/ORG contact for the year.
I've contacted the proper ORG channels and have heard nothing, presumably because this is a nit picky question and they're busy AF. I also searched high and low for relevant info and all I found was that there was some deadline back in December to switch camp leads. But we had no idea about that and wouldn't have know we needed to switch even if we did know about the deadline, as the decision not to go was made after. This worries me that it's too late and Mo will have to do all the remaining ORG contact. But maybe that was just to switch for the DGS? If I go ahead and just submit the Placement Questionnaire and make myself the point of contact are we going to be in hot water for not being congruent with the DGS info? We're still going as the same camp and using those tickets for the camp they were registered/bought for.
Anyways, probably this is no big deal, but I don't want to cause a headache for placement folks or damage our camps rep with them unwittingly. So if anyone has any thoughts or info it'd be much appreciated.
