Hi lovely burning family, Le Kafe messed up big time this year... after 15 burns serving coffee every morning on the playa, we missed the deadline to register as a theme camp
We're looking for a theme camp that would be willing to host us this year. Le Kafe would need about 100x150 to fit our container and the camp, but I'm sure we can squeeze in 100x100 if necessary. We're about 30 of us. We're happy to be treated as a separate camp within your space, or participating and helping as much as you'd like.

For what it's worth, our placed camp was unplaced one year when we weren't decided on going, and we had no problem finding a spot to accommodate us. We ended up on K Street, in the middle of the block, and since we were surrounded mostly by tent campers, we became the de facto gathering spot for the entire block, and made the most friends of any year. Not competing with other placed camps made us really stand out, and we just had the best year. I guess what I'm saying is, you don't need to be placed to bring it, and sometimes, not being placed makes for an even better year.
