Losing hope.

I got accepted for a low income ticket but finding a way there from nearly 1600 miles away seems impossible. Flights starting at 400 dollars plus burner express fees. Rental car isnt working out 160 for the week plus nearlt 200 for gas & a 24 hour drive all alone. Really wanted to attend but things are looking down for me. Ive tried every ride share site possible. If anyone is looking for a riding mate I promise you Im perfect for the job. Im a young Intellegent girl from a small town in missouri. Im fun, outgoing & very helpful. If anyone is passing through missouri to travel to BRC it would be greatly appreciated if you kept me in your thoughts

It is far too early to give up hope.

The rideshare boards don't even really get hopping til June or so.

I have never heard of someone NOT going because they couldn't get a ride.

Also, as a LI ticket holder, you will have access to purchase a vehicle pass at Will Call when you pick up your LIT.
This could turn out to be a big plus, the closer we get to the event.
Perhaps plan to fly to Reno, and get a rideshare from there?

Amtrak will take you from the arch to Reno for $180 each way. Get a cheap seat while the getting is good. That is a "value fare" that is fully refundable up until 48 hours prior then you lose 20%. If you feel the need to lock something in as a backup while waiting for the rideshare to develop then amtrak.com is an option.
How many old burners does it take to change a light bulb? Just one to change the bulb..... and five more to reminisce how good the old bulb was....

Bicycle friendly too. The 44 hours from Chicago to Reno will test her traveling spirit. It is not a perfect option, but it is a way to get within a
short cab ride from the burner bus in Reno.

Mod note: moved to Rideshares forum as that is a better fit.

Well, what do you want us to say? If you really want this, you're going to have to deal with these logistics.

It's mid-April. You have four months. Better tighten the belt and have a few bake sales.
