We're an Australian theme camp returning to playa for the second year - though many of us have been making the pilgrimage individually for much longer. About 20 of us are running the Slippery Tentacle Sideshow within Illumination Village, but we have recently lost access to all the camp infrastructure we used last year. Eek!
It's extra tricky and expensive to run a camp at Burning Man when you live in Australia (we're not called Down Under for nuttin'). We also don't have local storage, so we're looking to borrow as much as we possibly can. Are there any camps out there who are not going this year, or camps with stuff to spare who would be willing to lend us any of the following?:
- 2 x large eskies (coolers)
a small kitchen tent
a gas BBQ
a couple of trestle tables
shade cloth for tents
some camping chairs
lights, power cords and speakers.
