Low Income Ticket---Chances of selection?

What are the "general" qualifications and what is the acceptance rate for a Low Income Ticket? I'm a student at the University of Minnesota who will graduate this May. I made about $8,000 working this past summer and use it to pay for tuition, rent, food, etc. Fortunately, I have no student debt! :D Other than my summer income, I really have nothing else to my name (which is fine by me).

*Based on the little information I've given, do you guys think I'd make a good candidate for the Low Income Ticket and if so, what are the chances of being selected?*

My only concern is to hold out on the LIT to find out I wasn't selected and have to buy a general admission ticket on resale in the summer!

Thanks in advance for your insights and help!

Mod note: moved to Ticket Discussion as that is a better fit.

Welcome! It is hard to say year to year who qualifies for LI, but last year those who applied did well. No way to know, but best advice is apply and see what happens.

Hop back over to Greeter's Station and tell us a bit about yourself!

It is my understanding that Ticketing takes many things into consideration other than just income/expenses.

Inertia is your worst enemy. If you don't submit your Low Income Application, you will never get a ticket.

I've applied for and been approved for low income tickets three years now. I think being clear about what you will contribute to the event helps.
