Seems there will be a queue for the main sale, the queue opens 1 hour before the actual sale.
Will it go seamless this time?

The answer to that question may not be at Burning Man.com, but shouldn't you at least check.

Ok I checked and answered my own question. Im so worried that I won't be able to secure a ticket, even if I'm in time for the sale. Last year I was able to get a low income ticket, probably still qualify, but I saved an entire year for this Burns tickets.

Good you saved, but it's still luck of the draw these days.

Wait, the que starts one hour earlier?
I just thought that the button would appear, but you can start queuing then already

The Q isn't actually a 'line of people waiting'. It's just a glob. Come in when it opens or step in 5 minutes early. It won't give you an edge. It only keeps the entire system from crashing. Good luck.

Is there any information on what time the queue will open ? Will there be another "waiting room" fiasco this year?

A suggestion.

If you have not already done so, you might wish to go ahead and open a Ticketfly account -- now.

If you opened a Ticketfly account in the past, login to it to check if it's still good.

Also call your bank up before your $1000 ticket transaction to make sure your card doesn't get denied.

There doesn't seem to be much information on the waiting room situation this year? Anyone know how that's working? Waiting room opens at Noon but tickets don't actually go on sale until what time? Or is there no waiting room this year?

You enter into the waiting room prior to the beginning of the sale. At 12:00:00 noon PST, those who have entered the waiting room are taken en masse (or in technical terms as Ratty put it.. as a glob) and randomly put in order to form a buying queue. Today's sale reminder email states "The waiting room will open earlier, but arriving before noon gives you no advantage in the sale." I get the sense that they work hard to try to keep the thing intact for 45 minutes to an hour without crashing due to intense demand, and get the allotment of tickets 'out the door' the best they can.

Anyhow, at that point you'll see a little animated walking 'green' man graphic on your screen which will represent your progress. If you are fortunate, he will make his way all the way across the timeline, and you will then be taken to a new page, and on into the purchasing process.

Good luck tomorrow!
