Ticketfly was hacked Thursday May 31. Ticketfly announced today customer data may have been compromised. Ticketfly runs Burning Man ticketing (and Eventbrite.)

Looking forward to official announcements from Ticketfly and Burning Man.

But early changing of password and knowledge of/defense against phishing might be a good idea.

Ticketfly is requiring users to change passwords before gaining access to their account after the hack.

Have you been able to change your password yet? I haven't been able to log in to make a change; did you go the 'forgot my password' route instead? I did read one article which suggested that no credit card info was breached.

Yeah I just found out about this. My understanding is there is now a database floating around with everyones information (names, e-mail, home address, phone, etc). Ticketfly seems to have not sent e-mails out to people.

When I attempted to log-in yesterday, it wouldn't accept my password and I had to reset it.


Once in my profile, I didn't find anything amiss. Orders and shipping addresses remained intact.

Yes it appears the forgot my password route is the way to change your password as of today.

A useful tool is haveibeenpwned.com. It lists sites which lost your email by date. It does not have everything, like Equifax and federal workers hacks.

Two Ticketfly threads have been merged for ease of finding information.

I would suggest that if you used your ticketfly password anywhere else, you should probably change it too.
