Karma Love Camp - Join our Crew!
Posted: Fri Feb 16, 2018 10:15 am
We're back after a wonderful 2017 Burn with successful art, events and a diversity of members visiting us from around the world.
Our goal is to create a fun, immersive, transformative experience for our members while sharing special experiences with the Burner population through our interactivity and displays. Last year we had 85 members and 2018 will be around 90.
We currently have a openings for:
- Teardown (hanging around until 9/6 to put away gear in Gerlach)
- Makers for project builds (San Francisco, north bay, Sacramento, Reno)
Can be up for any or all of the above, but must have some sort of hauling capacity such as a 3/4 truck to help shuttle gear from Gerlach.
Some of our current members are also involved in art installations and a mutant vehicle project associated with camp. We're not a sound camp, but we will have rotating DJ, kirtan, and performance events every other full day as part of our interactivity, as well as yoga and body painting. Special skills with arduino and LED lighting, power systems, graphic design, web site development, metal fabrication, construction, and flame effects are always welcomed among our maker guild.
PLEASE SEND A PM if interested, or register through our website:

NOTE: We're only seeking those with the capacity to be directly involved in implementing camp at this time, yoga instructors and musicians. We will seek new applications for 20 regular member spots after the general ticket sale.
