Is there a list of performances that are scheduled to take place on the playa?

Sorry for the noob question but I noticed some performances on PlayaEvents are scheduled to take place at art installations or out in deep playa. Is there a publicly available list of these performances?

Not really, no.

There are some lists that get created by folks that want to contribute in that way, but it is mostly hit and miss, and up to you to scour the inter webs to see what tickles your fancy.

RockstarLibrarian will do her EDM list sometime in August and it’s rather good.

WWW guide and website have a bunch more data but it is painfully unstructured and you can spend some fun giggly hours there perusing the creative stuff.

End of the day: BM is not a curated event for your typical western consumption. It is decidedly an anti-event where discovery and IMMEDIACY is core to the paradigm.

Be social, plug in, let the moment take you where you need to be. Anything else and you will be disappointed.

Taking what Token was talkin’ a bit further, no that’s just not how Burning Man works.
Forget planning a schedule. A lot of the time nothing goes as planned anyway. Just go see what you see and do what you do.

In a dozen years going to Burning Man precisely one planned performance I wanted to see happened at the time it was scheduled. More that I've been associated with have been on time, but that's more because the leader of that group is very OCD

This really is the place you let loose and let playadipity take charge. The less you attempt to make it fit into a "real world" mold of clocks & schedules the happier you'll be.
