5 Colombians looking for a camp

Hi everybody!
Me and other 4 friends from Colombia have been dreaming to come to burning man for a long time and now we are really close to make that dream happen. There is only one thing we are missing to make it a reality: a camp to join! So we would be really thankful if there is a camp willing to open its doors for 5 Colombians who have never been to burning man. Sadly, we are not artists or musicians, but we hope we can contribute to the community with other simpler things: a story, a joke, a nice conversation and, obviously (and hopefully), a new friendship. If any of you guys can help us finding a camp, we will really appreciate it!!

You don’t need a camp. You ARE a camp. Bring something to share (shots! Pickles! Sharpie tattoos!). Set up a table outside your camp and put up a camp sign. Voila! You are a theme camp.

I guess you are right! Problem solved! We actually thought it was kind of mandatory to find a camp. Have you been to burning man? It's just that we could not find a ticket in the main sale and we don't really know how to find one since we don't know any burners. Do you have any suggestions on how to get one??
Thank you!!

Burning Man sells out every year; getting tickets is about perseverance and a bit of luck. Being connected with the community helps, too.
The ticket opportunities still to come are: STEP program, OMG sale, and Bus+ tickets.

Your post is a little misleading as it states that the only thing keeping you from realizing your playa dreams is a camp to join, when in fact what you need are tickets. Joining a camp and or volunteering will not get you a ticket. Finding a camp is relatively easy, not so much for tickets.

Regional groups are the best way to make contacts for tickets from people who can't attend. I don't see anything near Columbia however. You can sign up for STEP, but getting 5 tickets though that seems like a long shot.

Single biggest misconception about Burning Man today.

Thank you all for your help, we will try to get a ticket in the step or the OMG Sale. We've heard they always give priority to members of the community so I guess it won't be easy. Would you say this forum is a good way to find out about people who cannot attend and are willing to sale their tickets?

Both "tickets wanted" and "tickets for sale" are posted here in their appropriate sections.
