"Satellite Sunday"

Is it expected/known that someone(s) will be tasking satellites for photos on Sunday each year? I've seen people in the past do things in the dust that they expect to show up on sat photos, but without knowing which day they would be seen.

Unless that someone is paying for the satellite to shoot the event, they shouldn't expect anything. Some years I've seen it posted that a satellite company is shooting it (or having a plane photograph it), that usually happens earlier in the week. I'm not sure why anyone would want to take an image after the Man & most burnable art is already gone, but it's their money.
