I didn't get to go to the playa this year, but my bike did. The person who borrowed it left it unlocked, thinking it would be safe in the middle of their camp. No.

I've had this Burner bike for quite a few years. It's nothing special, except that I sanded off trademark stuff and painted on an oscilloscope-type graph with enamel paint -- so it's identifiable.

Is there any way to search for my erstwhile bike?

Hey! We had a distinctive bike some up at our camp Monday morning, sounds somewhat similar to what your looking for. What were the colors of the bike and there is something special about the tires.
