Sorry I didn't mean to be so snippy I'm just upset she thinks I should change my plans to suit her feelings. And I would totally apologise for the name calling if I didn't know that having any contact with her would be taken as an aggressive move. I also just don't want to straight up give in to her bullying tactics. The way I see it if I go along in the hopes that there will be enough people there what we won't have to interact and it's horrible I can just leave and go do something else like you say. So yeah, good advice, thank you, but I'm too pig headed to take it in it's entirety.

Well at least after 14 or so hours my butt would be worn in for my bike seat... But really, as a 5 foot tall person whose feet often don't touch the ground in seats that really worries me...

Send them to the Straya Day party at Asparagus Forest, 9:45 & E! They can meet other Aussies to go to regionals with!

And actually I have a koala costume for the event.... But it would make it difficult to introduce myself to new people if I was trying to hide my identity. And I think I'd just feel stupid and self conscious. I'd rather just walk in with my head held high knowing that I have every right to be there, that a lot of people there want me there and that I'm going to have fun regardless of her. But then I get nervous about her somehow getting an RTO and it effecting my ability to immigrate in the future

Also I've spoken to my friend who is organising the party and he's not going to make it to ttitd next year so I'm going to host the event at my camp next year to make up for (possibly) missing out this year. So that means I can keep helping him with the behind the scenes prep and justify it to myself as time well spent cause I'm just getting in early for next year. And I'm going to stop thinking too much about this year and see how things go once I'm in country and decide probably that morning when I crawl out of my tent.

Ok, so I have a friend of a friend who is in SF. She's an artist. The gallery that had pretty much allocated her an exclusive space closed. At about the same time she suffered an illness that had her on bed rest for three months. She is a single mom of a special needs girl and is in a jam. She really needs a place where she can show her work.
