Hi MaryAnimal. Nice to see you here. There a small delay getting into eplaya due to the IP folks putting some sort of protection here. It shouldn't be more than 5-10 seconds or so. If you're experiencing more than that, you might try rinsing your computer in the kitchen sink with lots of Dawn dish washing soap.
The playa has been calling your name for quite some time now. 2023 should be the year you drag yourself home.
I know a few of your buddies are going this year.

If my son comes, he has a big school bus. I'll ask him if I can ride with him. I'll have to do tenting again, which I really wouldn't look forward to. Maybe he could tow my car and I can drive it home if he goes elsewhere after Burning Man! I know this is a silly question but are you going this year? And is very good to hear from you!

maybe if your son has room on top of his bus, he could haul one of those foam pod things? I know several eplayans use them, I think they are fairly inexpensive and very nice and comfy.
