Telling Time in Burning Man Years

Do any of you guys tell time in Burning Man Years? I’ve been to BM 5 times since 2001. When ever someone asks me when something happened I always revert to Burning Man Years.

When did you paint the house? It was the summer of 2007. I couldn’t go to Burning Man because……….

When did Global A Go-Go by Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros come out? It came out in spring of 2001…….I was listening to it when I made it to the burn for the first time.

Do any of you guys tell time in Burning Man Years?

Don't bring defaultia to Burning Man, take Burning Man to defaultia...... graidawg

Yeah I do this... sometimes it's which mutant vehicle I had, often it's which truck I drove there or even what engine was in it for that year's Burning Man trip. Other times I classify time by which camp I was in or where I camped.
