AN OPEN CALL FOR PROPOSALS:
Festival Urbanism imagines what the Financial District of New York City would be like if a festival similar to Burning Man were to temporarily exist.

This project is a call for ideas seeking speculation on temporary architecture, inhabitation, and flexible designs. Submissions may be quick text-based notes, image-based collages/photographs/sketches, or model-based renderings/computer drawings, and are open to be either placeless or site specific proposals.

Festival Urbanism aims to enable open public participation through the creation of this virtual platform, allowing collaborative engagement and discussion through this electronic infrastructure of visualization.

This is a call for proposals to participate in the collaborative Bachelor of Architecture thesis project of Gabriella Morrone at Syracuse University. Your participation is requested. Submissions will be collected and integrated into an online presentation as part of the virtual festival on this website as well as presented at the School of Architecture.
