I thought The Who fucking rocked it! Sure, Pete's voice was out of key, and turned up WAY too loud in the sound mix, but he still shreds, even at age 65. Roger sounded great. Loved the game, but the halftime show sucked bloated donkey balls. At least the stage and lighting looked good, it helped distract from the 50+ year olds singing about teenage wasteland. Betcha this was the time municipal water departments across America had to bump up the pumps due to everyone deciding it was a great time to go to the bathroom.
Plus watching a British sex offender (FACT: Pete Townshend WAS arrested for possession of child porn) make a buck in America is not my idea of entertainment, plus the set list sounded like a damn commercial for all of the CSI shows.
In short this was arguably the most fucked up half time show in Super Bowl history.

I sent off an email to a long time friend last night asking for a letter of reference. He moved to PA a couple years ago so we haven't seen each other in a couple years. I got his reply this morning saying he'd be glad to write me the letter, and then in the second paragraph he writes this...
"Diana passed away this past Thursday. As you know she fought a brave, long (11+ years), hard battle with cancer (leiomyosarcoma). Back in November her health started declining more quickly. In early January she worsened much, much too quickly. Basically, the chemo over the years destroyed her bone marrow. Her funeral will be tomorrow. The viewings are this afternoon and evening."
Diana was his wife. This is the third friend I've lost to the big C - fucking cancer.
