HI Geo.......
I'm jealous!!!
I'm just back from WA.

Which route do you take?

and, driving to Alasaka!!! so nice.

I once drove to the arctic circle, from here, but, stayed in the Yukon.

Have you done that drive before?
have a good spare, and, be prepared to lose a light or two, and maybe a windshield, to rocks...........even though paved, it seems to happen still.

I lost one tire, one windshield and a headlight on my trip......

Ah yes, "Boobies make the world go round, the world go round, the world go round" (To the tune of "Money makes the world go round" from Cabaret)

Good to see you Anti M Morning Piney & Fae Tora. Coffee contraption is a winner today (like the coffee), YG See that WineBuff poked her pretty head in this morning. Time for a morning hug and snuggle in the NEB to get the day started on the right note!

Piney, your lucky to be so near the Playa. Have a ball there this weekend. Say hi to GH if you see him.

Cheers, all

Misa, I LOVE the cake. I haven't actually eaten cake in over a year. I haven't even had pie in over 6 months. I miss those things. Thank you so much! And its so pretty.

And it looks like it would be good with a little mimosa.

And morning kisses.

ygmir - Heading up the back way - 395 - 139 - 97 - 26 and then 5 into Bellevue. Staying for a Geocaching event called GeoWoodstock. Next Tuesday we catch a seven day cruise to Alaska out of Seattle. Reverse route on the way back. No road trip to Alaska this time but definitely in the future with a rental RV.

Winebuff - see you Thursday evening at Outlaw Barbeque.

Ok. What exactly is Geocaching? I've read a few descriptions of it but I don't quite understand it.

Adult treasure hunt :D Basically people hide things around the world and post the coordinated on http://www.geocaching.com/ and then other people use their GPS to try to find the hidden items. All caches contain a log that the finder signs to prove they were there. Some caches are large enough to contain items that you can trade - toys for kids, DD and DVDs for adults. GeoWoodstock is an annual event that is attended by Geocachers from around the world. This year it is being held in Carnation just outside Seattle.

Some caches are very well camouflaged and well hidden. Earlier this month I found one in Tallinn, Estonia about a foot away from the security cameras on the Russian Embassy. Had to be real stealthy for that one.

Powering down - going off grid - later.

i love fruit pies but they have to be made gluten free. Whole foods sells some. They are outrageously priced though. It's about as big as my hand from fingertip to base of palm for 8 bucks.

Guess they know their market though.

I stayed up late to finish a little stereo for my sister. I rushed it, It's not wise to drill holes in wood that has sticky paint on it. I'm picking off saw dust, and playing around when I should be asleep.

Howdee, bar flies;

Just about ready to come out of seclusion. Will check in here for coffee in the morning.

It's been a long tough year but I'm coming out of it intact. I am an introvert and seriously needed the seclusion from the internet to gather my thoughts and write my feelings. I've read every major philosopher and every major religious text in the last year. There is wisdom every where, it seems.

Just spent the weekend at Lakes of Fire - saw Sputnik there. After visiting his great art, we strolled over to the Tick Town Bar to spin the wheel for a free drink - I spun the fake orgasm so had to perform in front of the crowd - not easy for a shy person but I think I got an E for effort or at least I got the free drink anyway. Built some art myself and created a newspaper. Survived the Michigan camping experience including mosquitoes and rain. We had great fun.

Won't make it for 4th of Juplaya this year but am getting a BM ticket on Friday. Couldn't be missing that adventure and seeing all you friends again. :D
