Jaysus I need a drink.

Maybe a vodka and... um... vodka.

I love you all, and you know it right?

Can we let the fan club thread die now? I mean, a year ago I was raking people over the freakin coals for the creation of vanity threads...

Ok I'm back and all cleaned up. Is the hot tub still hot? How about a Gin and Tonic?

Ok I have my hot chocolate with chocolate hazelnut liqueur and might as well hang out in the bar while I drink it.

It sure seems like things have fallen off in here these days. I know I haven't stopped in some of the times I've been on the board because I spent so much time catching up on the BM political threads. They leave me feeling befuddled and even less social than usual.

I think e-playa going down and the holiday really did drive home how addicted some of us really are and some like Cowboyangel and I would guess Tisha have taken a hiatus as affirmations of there real lives.

Happy "My fucking weekend"

Hi kids. Gin & Tonic sounds kinda good right now. Just got off werq, and boy howdy, my aching "mouse" arm could use some painkiller.

Fuck it. I'm so pissed off right now I can't think straight. I spent 30 minutes writing Samtzu and it fucking disappeared. Tell him to call me... if he wants.

I'll be outside smoking a cigarette and watching the dirtstorm go by.

Oh, your right. I'm thinking about all the *other* times we've ever talked...

I'm not complaining here. I usually find a way to give some back.

There are things, dear Zulegoona, which we cannot begin to comprehend.

~picks up shot glasses & low balls floating cig butts~

When the e-playa went down (on me!),
it was fortunate for everyone that i could not write

Would have taken civilization back a thousand years.

~strains cig butts & drummie handles from half full booze glasses with shaker, puts in blender w/ice, drinks & exits murmmering~

Ummmm! Cyclical!

Time for some bar coffee!

I've got shots of Ouzo for anyone who wants it in their coffee. Maybe I can even find some of my uncle's white lightning somewhere if you really want a kick.
It's going to be alright.

Sputnik, you sure that that's ouzo and not Pine Sol? I hear you Santa types have a thing for that.

I take the coffee, thanks.

*wanders into the bar with big circels under her eyes. turns to the fire place, briefly wonders where the hell it came from, and starts up a boy-scout worthy fire (using a fire log cause she's lazy and tired). fluffs some big pillows and blankets in front of it, curls up on them*

Hiya Rian.

Big spooner. Either way, you spoon me or I spoon you. Maybe someone will make us a little sugary mint tea in tiny silver-lace glasses for later while we nap.

Yeah, Rian, that's great. C'mon closer. My arm okay there?

Minty tea for everyone today, I think. I have a huge bunch of fresh mint right here--lets put a sprig or two in the pillows while we sleep.

Pfaugh. The complaints on the 3playa *about* the eplaya generally boil down to disliking the interface and... conflicts past and present with one particular poster. YES, sometimes it gets painted with a wider brush than necessary... but that happens plenty *here* as well (e.g. "bunch of elitist snobs").
Sorry, Lydia. You have always been kindness herself to me.

Okay, I feel that I was written off by "them." And sometimes I feel a little 2nd class. And I know that it has to do with my inner world as much as any objective reality. What i really, truly want in my miserable inner heart is for some of those people to extend an actual invitation. A "hey fishy I like what you have to say, come say it at Treys."
Pathetic.

Quiet now, Rian. Just close your eyes while I pull this blanket up over the two us; let's dream of far-off places.

Helitack! This blanket goes on forever. There's room for everyone inside. Keep it down, though.
