Yeah. This is looking interesting. I plan to post more about the cities-within-a-city Pattern Language stuff later. Did you read my (too) long posts on the matter from the weekend?

This calls for something. Don't know what.

no sir I did not, I tend not to catch up. But, I am sitting at home with a well fucking stocked bar (can't wait for Tisha to work some magic at the House of S) and time on my hands so if you give me a link, I'll get your drink.

It was well written. Personally I think the city could use with a major layout change. Maybe a bunch of random circle placed around the playa with interconnected 'roads', sorta like feudal europe.
It's going to be alright.

that shit made me lol for the first time all day!!

yeah - can't wait to whip up some fine-ass cocktails fer yer shindig...

i have no idea what's going on with city-threads, and right now i don't honestly care. i like to show up and see what i can do with what's there. not so into the planning part... too much haggling over shit that won't really happen. i don't have time... when it's real - i'll pitch in.

a radical layout change would sure as hell make for a very new experience. Interface.

I can understand how the borg might be comfortable with the current layout though. It has solved some issues. And, well, it's just beautiful from the air. I think that image is one of the best pieces of art out there.

i am.

both of mine were 'one-shot' deals. even had one happen with protection that didn't make it (early miscarriage - it's okay). i've learned to lock myself up when ovulating... like a werewolf.

gotta take the kid to choir. then a x-mas party.

ta till later!

make yerselves lemondrops, eh? there's really good vodka back there, and powdered suger for the glass rims.

<smooch>

Laura will be mixing up pre-made cocktails in a couple of 2 1/2 gallon jugs. We have yet to finalize what they will be though one of them, I'm sure, will be her signature rum punch. The rum punch creates zany, energetic drunks somehow. I am sure my dear friend Jason<not of the eplaya> will be mixologizing. You will love him. He could charm Imelda Marcos away from a shoe sale at John Fluvog.

I've had them before. So we'll just have to experiment until we get it right. Good thing we've got a lot of vodka.

BTW, I just loaded the jukebox with practically every song I have and put it on shuffle. It should last a few days.
It's going to be alright.

Of course, if this were the carney bar you could have the drink as long as you could tell the bartender what was in it.

Anyway, I say we try a shot of vodka with a squeeze of lemon in a glass with the sugared rim.

Here you go.
It's going to be alright.

So, you become violent, huh?

How about we just use some restraints? I'm not too good with mixing up sedatives.

This time let's try a shot of vodka in the hollowed out half of a lemon (with sugar to sweeten it a bit)

OK, last one for me. Gotta get up early tomorrow and watch the sun rise. This time we do it the right way:

1 oz Vodka
2 oz Lemonade

mix with ice in a glass with a sugared rim.
It's going to be alright.

Did someone ask for vodka?

I'll take a warm version of that Sputnik. I'm working on my AR tonight and it's a bit...er... the weather outside is frightful. But the bar is so delightful!

Easily fixed.

Go to Nordstrom's. Take off clothes in front of the store Santa.

Y'know, me and Rian need to start an advice thread like someone suggested a while ago.
