Marty, re: Seascape, Albee came to my college and gave a talk when the drama dept. put on that play... I don't remember anything about the play, but images of great lizardy minimalist costuming spring to mind. Some playa ideas there. take notes.

Ygmir, another great coffee maker! The cicatrice stuff led me to some pretty gruesome images... work on a good story, perhaps a dueling scar from a dastardly fiend, instead of further physical enhancement.

Misa, and Fae Tora, nice breakfast thanks.

garage sale first weekend in August. Big junk purge in progress. very liberating. Serves dual purpose to see how my playa gear is strewn about and get it corralled and sorted out. Spent too much time dallying with speakers and a subwoofer crossover yesterday...

hi gang!

faetora, i've been interested in gluten-free baking .... i don't think it's even possible to make a gluten free yeast bread, as it's the gluten that holds the bread together so the yeast can make the bubbles. pie crust, however ..... that is possible. i think quick breads (muffins, scones, &c) are possible as well.

hi Winebuff! I forget that you haven't been yet. I'm starting to get a little nervous too, just need to remember that I have what I need, and it'll work out fine. Littleflower, how do you make your atomic cherries? I gather you don't put the habanero in them?

Hi Ellorum! Yes, I have gone over my notes a TON! I am very anal about being organized so am feeling pretty darn good. Just need to tweak a bit more on food etc.

Atomic cherries, man that sounds great......What are they?

i LOVE champagne!!!!! always keep a bottle in my 'fridge, always!

atomic cherries, as i learned to make them: pour the liquid from a jar of maraschino cherries, replace with everclear, and let them sit for a few months. mine are a bit wimpier, though ..... i left some of the maraschino juice .... i like the flavor better. but they still have a kick!

meanwhile, i've started re-working my playa hat and goggles! yay!!

my neighbors use everclear, cinnamon schnapps, and a habanero chili... then age in jar. I haven't tried them, but they usually have difficulty talking for a moment, and then declare "a good batch"

A friend once told me of a "chili holler" contest he competed in. They consumed shot or shots of tequila, and a whole chili (plucked from dish held above contestants head so they couldn't pick an easy one I guess) shortest time from "go" to verifiable holler won.

Ellorum, couldnt do that. But I did make some killer chili vodka. You take dried whole chilis and put them in a bottle of vodka and let them sit on side for a week or so. Great for bloody marys. Also did that with ginger and made ginger lemon drops. Yummy!
