Yes, and in the closet they will stay with the exception of my forest Santa feeding the animals, a mini optic fiber tree and a mini nativity set in a lead crystal box.

TPBM's house and yard will show up on satellite video Christmas Eve.

No house, no yard (apartment building & sidewalk), so no.

TPBM is on box two of their candy cane stash.

I have a lake in my back yard. A while ago, it was a pond. Before that, a lake.

It would be nice once in a while. Don't get much rain out here in the desert.

I did, but it wasn't a very Resolutiony one. Have a young child we were always hum drum around the house. A NYR we set was to go on a date night once every two weeks. We never faulted and it was great for the relationship to not have a tiny person with us ALL the time. Thursdays...

I don't drink all that much. But I like the idea of seasonal beers. It cheers me no end to think that all over the country people are setting out to make drinkable beer on a small scale, and succeeding. And that makes it a little depressing when I hear that you can get Sierra Nevada in England. I believe in a landscape full of local and specific delights, not the tentacled trap of hemisphere-wide conformity.
tpbm cannot see the name Francisco Vasquez de Coronado without evoking an earworm, and having the next half hour involve avacados and Colorado in nonsensical verse.

Yes. And I think you just proved it.
tpbm is jealous of tpam for never having heard "Desparado" (although there is the slight discomfort of historical ignorance unveiled, although it's not hard to see how with a narrative so contradicting the American self-image that it wouldn't be taught in schools.)

I'm enjoying a second day off in a row, have one more to go then back to the coal mine. I have, however, been working my ass off all day getting the outdoor plants prepped for the pending frost. Now it's beer o'clock.

You're welcome. (All it has to do is rhyme with Desparado, Eric. Maybe it's genetic; my mother has a habit of singing random phrases from advertising and the like to the "Ode to Joy".)
