We came to visit the new grandbaby (our first). After a few days here, I realize my non-coffee drinking son picked up decaf for his good ole dad.
Coffee/Redbull boilermakers may be in order.

Hi there, bar! I'm just doing a quick check in on some things and wanted to say hi from the Burning Man Global Leadership Conference. Think of it as a trade show for regional contacts! It's a fun and inspiring event, lots of sessions and workshops to learn stuff, as well as the opportunity to connect with burners from around the world and share ideas about the kind of nonsense we love so much. I've said hello to Misa (who's just done a presentation that went over well), and seen Scotto but haven't gotten to say hi yet. I've also run into several other ePlayans, and several Second Life/Burn2 people as well. There's some kind of livestream of some of the sessions, I think they had some challenges this AM but things are allegedly either already worked out or getting worked out as I type. Cheers!

Hit some tennis balls last evening after a layoff of over a month and it felt so good. Have my regular game of doubles this morning. Good to feel alive! Doc gave me a clean bill of health yesterday afternoon. So, I'm good for another 100,000 miles!

Yes indeed, MyDearFriend, I am ThrilledToBits knowing Delle and her Sweetie will be there!! We're definitely all looking forward with glee, to late August/early September!

I'll also get to see them in a couple of weeks, when at least 5 of the 6 siblings will be there, to celebrate our Amazing Mom's 90th birthday! (The 6th has the farthest to travel, and hasn't responded, but he knows about it... we'll see...) There will also be 2 granddaughters, one with her 5 year old twins!

Late Mornin All!

Just came in for a break, from cutting the front yard for the first time this year, whatever it is that's growing out there.
Now gonna dig up the dandelions that are growing. Tulips looked great this year .
Overcast and kinda muggy here, about 66 and supposed to top out at 70, so I'm wearing shorts.
Mower fired right up with one pull . After I finished I took the air filter off and washed it. I'll re-assemble it next time I use it. Give it time to dry
I don't want the gas and oil smells coming from me to linger so I'm going back to what was doing.

The purse seine of my trip is tightening down to the locus of BRC!!!!
thinking of all the neat things to get done, and still looking at the bike garage in my living room... My next days off, I think I'm going to be looking for some furniture.

The local supermarket is doing some remodelling, and has a lot of strange clearance. I got some 27" bike innertubes for 75 cents a piece. I don't have a 27 inch wheeled bike, but figure they'd be handy at Elliot's shop.
