Seems to me I put in writing I thought Trump would beat Hillary Clinton and I was the laughing stock of every forum I suggested that particular position. Now who's proven to be horribly wrong? Uh, most of you.

That may be true.

The electoral college balances on a thread. The Rove doctrine proposes winning just enough states by dividing swing states into voter microsegments and then appealing to those segments on polarizing policy issues through narrowcasting.

Instead we should be focusing on common American values.

Of course we will have 2020 voter suppression (aka democracy suppression), voter discouragement, promotion of wacko third party libertarian, green, hey Ralph Nader, care to enter?, voting, perhaps even third party entrants like Gabbard, and Russian/Chinese interference.

(There is no disagreement that if Nader had not run in 2000 we would have never entered the trillion+ dollar Iraq war)

Extreme positions are magnified by pageview-ad dollar editorial policy. But Fox is infinitely better at destroying democracy than the Huffington Post.

Reputable polling has shown Americans are united on most policy issues.

The great tragedy of Trump in history will be his destruction of the American character and what we have built overseas. Bannon, who is smart, pursued a "helter skelter" philosophy as did Manson, but much more effectively than Manson. Trump doesn't need Bannon's "helter skelter" today, Trump has internalized it with his muddled thinking, and age-related cognitive problems layered on DSM personality disorders.

Otherwise clear-thinking conservatives are too afraid of Trump to remove in the senate, though a Pence presidency would benefit them.
