I'll second the "Fuck Depression!"

MA, do go to Burning Man! I made the mistake of going while I had bronchitis and still mostly enjoyed it. Somehow, some year I need to find a way to get back there and give it a try when I am not sick.

I've had trouble with depression and other psych. problems at least for the last 35 of my 47 years, so you have my sympathy and best wishes. (I've also had problems with headaches the same amount of time or longer, which could be connected.)

Please don't forget the tutu for the doc. He needs one to go with the wig.

I have the same feelings a lot of the time I'm slowly learning though, you have many good things in life don't think about the bad things or how the good things can become bad things. Just appreciate them and remember them. You have real friends here so you may be isolated at home but you aren't alone. there a lot of people here for you as they have been for me, you are part of a select group now, not everybody is an eplayan of note :)
I'm looking forward to meeting you! Where will you be camping? I'll be a BDC. And I know things will be ok. Stress does this to me at times. I do have namy good things in my life! My family loves me. My boys are glad I'm here with them! They must have missed me! I sure missed them. And I know the people I've met in here will be life long friends, which is so important to me! I can't wait for the M&G! I'll be there with bells on!!

((((Tom)))) Thank you so much! I'm really excited and a bit anxious about going because I know things wil never be the same. And that's a good thing. I'll be bringing a camera and a camcorder. I want to document my first burn!!

YES! You should get to the burn again. I'll have everything for next year so it may not be as hectic as this year. Although some of my equipment will change! So plan for next year BAS!

((MA))...keep your chin up buttercup (easier said then done sometimes). I predict on playa that you will find much love, laughter and friendship and dancing. We can not forget to dance...see you there, can't wait to meet you.

It has come to my attention that I've done something so heinous that I must apologize. I was told that I hijcked this thread. If I had known that threads were meant for only certain people, I would have never posted my feelings, opinions, or otherwise. And being a person of honor and respect the feelings of others, I give a heartfelt, I apologize.

I feel the same Yg. Oh well, what's that old saying, you can't please all of the people some of the time, and some of the people some of the time, or is it, you can't please anyone if your pleasing some, more of the time....I'm so confused.

And just who was it that brought this heinous act to your attention? I'd only imagine it might be the OP that could presume the thread their own?

A happy thread?! It's titled ISOLATION! Not quite my idea of happiness.

+10

Who the heck complained about a slight thread drift? It happens CONSTANTLY, thread hijacking on forums is a joke as it happens so frequently.

I owned this thread, the second I was at gunpoint, by the department of agriculture.....imagine that! And, yes, jkisha isolation can be a good thing. I'm a former OTR truck driver, and given my situation in the Bay Area, I needed some thinking space.

Imagine starting your day, asking directions to a store and 1 hour later being in handcuffs. Then being released from jail at midnight, in the middle of nowhere. Yes, I had beer for breakfast...and yes MA got a text message, saying I felt like a fucking slave..

Moderators note...

This is to answer the immortal question - "What happened to the posts?". They were deleted. By me.

I'm not into censorship, but... and read this closely... I am not gonna sit here and watch this become a fist fight. I'll tolerate a lot, but the nonsense ends. Unlike some, I have a short fuse when I see this board come to an arena, damnit. And yes, I WILL pull this topic over, and will do so in the future if this keeps up.

You got issues, take it to Thunderdome. Or PM. NOT the ePlaya public boards.

I may catch hell for it, but then so be it. I'm going back to killing spambots now. thank you for your attention.

 Okay... I think I am glad I missed whatever happened.

FWIW "Isolation" reminds me of the late 1970s - early 1980s band "Joy Division", but I am weird that way.

The outcome of this thread makes me cry, literally. It was an awesome thread to come to and talk about feelings of isolation, and get the warm and caring feedback from others. Now it's just a battlefield of hate.

I thought that's why you started "Isolation 2" so that people could once again have a thread to come to and talk about feelings of isolation, and get the warm and caring feedback from others; and get the hell out of the battlefield of hate.

(I started a second "politics" thread for somewhat the same reason, but when talking politics it doesn't take long for it to turn into a battlefield of hate!)
