The few times I've had it, it was wonderful. There is a great Indian buffet in Thunder Bay, Canada.

TPBM has a great pair of shoes to wear on the Playa.

I have shoes. I wear them there. I wouldn't say they're great, but comfortable and such. Short shoes, got lots of dirt in my socks and thing and stuff.

TPBM has a sweet pair of cowboy boots, and actually uses them for their intended purpose rather than for fashion.

If that were true, I would be a cowboy. Ok, then. I've never tried on cowboy boots that felt comfortable enough to wear all day, or walk much. As daily footwear, they remain a mystery to me.

Tpbm believes that quality footwear is well worth the investment.

Only if it's a thin crust cheese pizza. I hate the way toppings shift otherwise.

Good lord, do I look like a heathen? I'll play with patterns, but you can be damn sure my socks match - even the black ones have to be two of the same style. Fashion is not for the weak.

Yes. This morning in fact. I was getting my camping gear gathered for a weekend hike and when I opened my cooking kit, the dust flew out. I smiled. It's time to do this.

TPBM wants a different experience this year.

Want it or not, I'm getting it. Going to the burn single, so it will be a different experience.

Better? No idea.

Different? Absolutely.

I've been prepping for the burn for three years now and have never been. It's still fun picking up things here and there and dreaming about going. Some day!

TPBM has been so many times prepping is second nature.

Prepping for anything is just something I do. Any trip to anywhere needs good planning, TTITD is just another thing with weirder stuff than I take "regular" camping. My motto is 7P's - Piss Poor Planning Promotes Piss Poor Performance.

TPBM knows how to wire EL wire together and is a pro bike decorator with it.

Nope. It's a skill I'd love to have, but haven't learned yet. I just wrap my bike in LED strands.

Yes. Especially around food. I like to see all the colors of what I am eating and preparing rather than a limited spectrum. I have a few cases of bulbs just for those fixtures in the kitchen. LED/CFD lights are OK everywhere else

I bought a fancy ass copper style breathalyzer. It was spendy but back in the day I got in trouble and it was a shit ton of money, lawyers fees, etc. Pain in the ass. So, I have it in my truck and every time I go out for the night, before I even put the key in the ignition, I blow on the thing. One time a few months ago, I blew it and pulled a .11, I waited and waited and waited, 3 hours in a parking lot until I blew again. .06. Not even 2 minutes after I got on the road I got pulled over for something stupid and he could smell beer. He gave the the breathalyzer and I blew a .06 again. He was pissed, but let me go on my way. Bing Bango bitches! So yes, I passed a field sobriety test recently!

Fuck no. My teeth have roots so long they have trouble getting them all in x-rays, and last time one was pulled it took massive amounts of painkillers, two dentists, a hammer, and a really concerned looking nurse. Not kidding.
