Well Elliot, I think anything going up into your intestines is going to feel a bit different. Sham might not want to share ...wait...I'm taking about Shambala ...hey Sham, will you have a video taken of the whole procedure, along with commentary??
Sometimes I'm confused by what I think is really obvious. But what I think is really obvious obviously isn't obvious.

My guess is a video will be recorded as a normal part of the procedure. After all, that's a video camera they run up there, isn't it?

Now, a proper "happy post": I have medical coverage again! Don't let it expire if you can help it, folks.

They said it will be like a ride at Disney, and I can buy the video on the way through the colonoscopy gift shop. I will make copies for anyone who wants it.

edited to add: I know now exactly what the commentary will be. "hey, what the fuck are you doing back there"?

The mere fact that you posted this in the Happy Thread makes it an obvious choice.

I felt absolutely no discomfort whatsoever after the procedure. Could not tell anything had been done. But they did insist I have someone drive me home, because of the meds still in my blood.

Actually, you can get copies of the pictures. I got mine. I had some silly idea that it would be funny to post them on Facebook. fortunately, I came to my senses in time.

Lotsa yays in the last week...

Went to a falconry meet and stayed up all night roasting a pig for the awards banquet. I won a pint of homemade blackberry likker!

Met a friendly local burner couple who have a MV. They asked me if I knew anyone who can build propane flame effects. I know, huh?

Registered at http://www.okcupid.com (two x's in my name there) and Sweetpea thinks it's cute. She's browsing and pointing with me.

AND, I haven't had a cigarette in 4 weeks!

Happy week!

Oh yeah! There's back channel discussions, started by Espressodude, to get me a position with Black Rock FX doing pyro and fireworks shows! There's a possibility of me being able to buy a tier 3 ticket along with it.

AND...
Regardless of the above, I'm finally registering for classes to get my Oregon state pyrotechnician's license! I'll be able to work on the monster fireworks shows on the 4th and others throughout the year :)

YAY!

It's summer down there. No reason needed.
BTW, Vegemite in chili? Win!

I purchased 2 tubes of vegemite yesterday for you. They are in my USA 2012 box. They already have your name on them.

Vegemite. What can't it do? Hmmm maybe we should start a topic thread on that!

y'know, Dougly, yer a good man, to be admired!!
it seems you fall in love, several times per year. Are always excited, always positive. You don't give up, don't cry in your beer, just move on, with hope and happiness. Open to possibilities.
I've seen that over these last few years, how you've not let tragedy and loss, stop you.

Good on ya, you're an example, to us all!!

I'm gonna go find an old but good thread now.
