Better, yes, but such a relative term. Better than last year before all the surgeries. Not better than a few weeks ago when it was still warm.

TPBM has a lot to do this time of year, but will blow half of it off.

Going out to a movie is out. Staying in for a movie is in. There is a "Pause" button, clean toilet facility, fabulous snack bar that has hot cocoa, recliner lounging, blankets, pillows, cozy fireplace, rambunctious foreplay if the movie is boring, and nobody sitting next to me coughing, sneezing, or texting.

TPBM is tired of the snow already
The next morning you will wake up pretty much your old self except that a very unusual 16 hours will have been added to your store of life experience.

I haven't driven a motorized vehicle since 1998 (and haven't had a licence since '91), so I'd be pretty oblivious no matter which lane I was in.

You're right. Especially since my job requires me to have a CDL. And I work in Reno and drive 35 miles to work each way every day.
But think of the money Eric and others have saved by not buying gas, annual vehicle registration, license renewal and the headache of increasing traffic.

Some egghead from CARB (California Air Resource Board) discovered that mixing minute droplets of pig pee as well as some chemicals, in a controlled manner into the fuel somehow creates less emissions. :shock: Why didn't I think of that? Yes. I've had my one quart this year. (I cut it with milk.) It's below freezing outside. That's a big deal. There will be lots of yellow shrubs and dead flowers. I realized last night that Californians don't have a clue how to dress for cold weather. I've been handing out fleece scarves and gloves to our valets, security guards and to one homeless chap in half a blanket.


The person below me appreciates and enjoys extreme weather.

I live in Wisconsin so I get extreme weather every hour on the hour (Meh). I don't even notice it anymore.
