hey thanks sput. i saw one of those silver tarps on amazon for $10 the other day. it probably didn't help that i put my non-metallic tarp right on top of my tent.sputnik wrote:Hey Holly....the thing with the tarp you threw over your tent is that it doesn't reflect. A better tarp is the silver kind.
i'm really excited about a breezy (aka dusty) tent this year. i love how the playa treats my skin.
i tried out my new red tent in golden gate park the other day, and was busted by the park ranger! in san francisco you can cruise the streets in a grocery cart, naked and intoxicated while a giant lobster chases you, BUT don't even think about putting up a tent in one of the many parks throughout the city.

I bet you could keep your tent up, if you were naked and told them you're waiting for the "mother ship"hollywallydoodle wrote:hey thanks sput. i saw one of those silver tarps on amazon for $10 the other day. it probably didn't help that i put my non-metallic tarp right on top of my tent.sputnik wrote:Hey Holly....the thing with the tarp you threw over your tent is that it doesn't reflect. Holly how are you enjoying the bar?
Had a lovely evening. Scared the shit out of two newbie girls. I don't feel bad though because if you are scared away by a picture of a nun holding artifical limbs your schock tolerance is too low.
Anyways, hows the NEB? AC on yg?

We break to remind us how to mend.

i may of well been doing that the way the tourists were staring! i would have picked a quieter spot, but that tent was fuckin heavy. i got off the bus and dropped it under that tree. it doesn't look very big in the photo, but it's 6' tall.ygmir wrote: I bet you could keep your tent up, if you were naked and told them you're waiting for the "mother ship" maybe making grass angels or something.

Its was shellfish, so its gonna take its toil first.
I probably wont be able to eat clams for a long time now. damnit!
Im actually doing better, the side effects are minimizing now, just need some strength???

Sorry you are ill, Piney. Got to run its course and you will be back to yourself in no time.
Coffee and a roll in the NEB and then a very busy day. Last ARTery meeting tomight before the Burn!!!!! Love those meetings and the Arterians. Great bunch of folks and lots of fun.
Be sure to stop at the ARTery and get a free ticket for the ArtTour on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday mornings starting at 11AM. The tours last about 2 hours and if you prefer you can follow along on your bike.
Hugs to all
