I know a guy (burner name Mother) who drinks a lot of that.

Do you think fleece or denim to cover the mesh top of my tent?

I am going to try to sew again. I know. Dangerous.

Fleece I guess. Seems easier to sew than denim. I'm going to try sheets for mine (weight concerns for me)

hi gang!!
FT:
what about gorilla tape or something that would stick?
Iron on stuff?
spray contact adhesive?
just some thoughts.

I spray painted some burlap, (much larger openings) and, after a couple of coats, it looks like a tarp.......all blocked up.
Maybe some thing like that?

There is a thread or more, that deals with sealing a tent.

VCG:
yes, smoke away..........I hear ya Sput.......gotta cool off...........

What I'm trying this year is that I (actually my wife) took the rain flap, cut it in sections to match the mesh and sewed the material over the mesh. May not make it dust proof but it will definitely be dust resistant.

BTW - Sputnik - you confused me by posting the picture of the PBR. That is meant for breakfast - not evening drinking.

I was at Wally World today and all I could think of was Burningman. Think it was the water and PBR displays that triggered it.

Hey Jella! Just saw that you're in Escondido! I grew up there, well, to the extent I ever grew up. Arrived at the age of 10, stayed until I left for college. I still have family not far from there. That was a l-o-o-o-o-ng time ago, last time I spent the night there was probably - what - 20 years ago? And the last time I spent more than a week probably another 10 beyond that.

How about you?

In Geocaching we're not allowed to mention commercial establishments by name in the cache description. Wally World is what's used for Wal-Mart. Just a habit

The more intelligent people think they are, the less right they tend to be, fae. Except in my case, of course. I usually call the place mal wart, and avoid shopping there like the plague. Not that I think they're evil, just that they aren't actually cheaper when you take quality into account.

If they carried booze here, it might be a different story.

What a wonderful dream to fall asleep to. Bless you, VCG! See you all in about 18 days! Can't be too soon!
